Parties
Family and school events make for the best photographs. Everyone (especially the children) is engaged, playful and alive. The smiles are natural and the emotions real. I'm available for birthdays, reunions, school parties, and the random street party. Parties tend to have a variety of requirements so call me with the details and and I'll get a price for you. Kudos
"Wahoo! Finally a great photographer at a reasonable price. Joey arrived at our house to take photos of our family. He worked steadily for an hour and a half and snapped pics of the kids alone, with us, us without the kids, etc. He had a variety of great ideas to get the perfect shot. Joey is affable, relaxed, and was easy to have in our home. The great news, is that the photos turned out fabulously. I bought a disc of 36 high resolution images and Joey sent me "web-ready" versions as well. I couldn't have been happier with ...

Alamo Square
Alamo Square is best known for the Painted Ladies, incredible city views and loads of dogs. I'd been there a million times and never noticed the playground nestled between the trees and the tennis courts. There are two play structures, a couple swing sets, and plenty of things to explore. Also, all the parents I met were super friendly and I met a friend that I hadn't seen in over 10 years. Definitely worth checking out. Photographically speaking, Alamo square is a gold mine. If you can get there for the afternoon light there is plenty of options - playing on ...
Harris Family Session
On Sunday, I met with Jamie, Chris and Caden - their most adorable 6 month old. Caden has long black hair and a great big smile that looks just like his dad's. The temperature dropped about 20 degrees that day so we cut the park shoot short to keep the little guy warm. But I have to say, I'm almost glad that happened because it forced us inside where their love for the baby and each other came bubbling out. Burger Meister Max
I met Max, his Mom, Nicole and Dad (name ??) at Burger Meister in Cole Valley when Sue, Lucius and I went out for a Father's Day-eve dinner. Super nice family and Max clearly loves the camera. We first started talking when we realized that three of the 5 tables in BM were filled with a Mom, Dad and a 2-4 year old. Guess we weren't all that original. I rented a D700 from Camulet this morning and I was itching to use it. Max looked adorable peeking over the chair and Nicole was generous enough to say yes when ...
