Joey Chandler Photography was created from one of those "If not now when" sort of thoughts and taking a very bold leap. I'm a husband, father and long time photographer and in 2009 I decided to make family photography my full time business. I now photograph families of all shapes and sizes throughout San Francisco, Marin, and the rest of the Bay Area. And since "family" means different things to different people in San Francisco and the Bay area, I've expanded my scope to engagements, weddings, dogs, cats and other animals.

I use timing, natural light and a bit of luck to create portraits where children, parents, grandparents, couples and pets appear relaxed and natural. "You really captured their essence" is something I hear often.

I'm available for portrait sessions, birthday parties, family reunions, engagement sessions, weddings and most anything else where people gather and have fun. I photograph my clients in places that are important to them - homes, parks, playgrounds, beaches and even book stores through out San Francisco, Marin, South San Francisco and the Peninsula, and Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda and the East Bay.
